Hi, I’m Mahek. Lifelately is where I keep the parts of life that usually disappear into a camera roll.
The drive before the view. The café I found by accident. The outfit that survived four climates in one week. The thought I had on a long bus ride that felt important at the time. This is where all of that lives now.
Why Lifelately
I’ve never been good at picking one thing. I love travel, but also food, clothes, design, building things and learning whatever I’m curious about this month. Most places online ask you to choose a niche. This one doesn’t. It’s a journal first and a travel magazine second.
What you’ll find here
- Travel — places worth going, guides, itineraries and the stories that come home with you
- Style — what people are wearing now, trends worth trying and pieces worth keeping
- Table — cafés, restaurants and places worth stopping at
- The Notebook — stories, lessons and the messy middle of figuring life out
- The Makers — for people building something
- Community — stories from readers, published here
Why document at all
Because details fade fast. Writing things down, filming them and photographing them is how I pay attention. If something here makes you want to go somewhere, eat something or try something new, it’s done its job.
